This blog is because I cook way more than is practical for a woman with two small children and a job, and then I go to bed and read cookbooks and make plots for a food magazine that doesn’t exist.

That magazine would combine a pretty strict view of environmentalism, thrift, and respect for nature and our ingredients, with the understanding that people are tight on cash (for ethical meat and organic produce & etc.) and also can’t always control every detail. Kind of a fun, practical, sloppy, delicious doing-our-best to eat in a healthy, family-friendly way….
